iDID held its first networking event for sponsoring companies, "iDID Insight Session vol.1," on July 22, 2026, at CasaZIZO in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo. This was iDID's first attempt to bring together its sponsoring companies for such an event.
This event was designed to provide an opportunity for those of you who are working hard every day on recruitment and organizational development to exchange ideas and share your experiences. We planned this event with the hope that companies that are already connected through sponsorship could connect with each other even more. On the day of the event, we were joined by executives, recruiters, public relations staff, and corporate staff from several sponsoring companies, including Copilot Inc., FOURDIGIT, Wab Design, RE Design Inc., MEFILAS Inc., and SHIFTBRAIN.

From self-introductions to sharing strategies, and then to a public consultation session.
The meeting began with self-introductions. In addition to mentioning their companies and positions, participants also shared recent hot topics and hobbies, creating a friendly atmosphere that belied the fact that they were meeting for the first time. The purpose of the meeting was "a networking event, not a seminar." Based on the idea that talking to others deepens one's own understanding, the meeting proceeded with an open attitude that welcomed personal conversations.
Next, we moved on to the introduction of iDID. The three operating companies (SHIFTBRAIN, FOURDIGIT, and Wab Design) shared why they started this initiative, and explained their four businesses—media, events, associates, and school—using real-world examples.
After a break, the second half featured a sharing of strategies by three companies: SHIFTBRAIN, FOURDIGIT, and Wab Design. SHIFTBRAIN presented their internal PR operational system and MVV (Mission, Vision, Values) dissemination project, FOURDIGIT shared their unique recruitment strategies, and Wab Design discussed their work style and internal systems.
A "public consultation session" where real-life problems were discussed.

One of the highlights of this event was a Q&A session titled "Bringing Together the Wisdom of Each Company! Open Consultation Session." Representatives from each company took turns speaking, and participants asked a steady stream of questions.
- OnboardingOne company that spends three months training employees mentioned that they intentionally don't have them do hands-on work during the first month, prioritizing letting them get a feel for the workplace. They also shared a system where a supervisor and a mentor work together to support the training, and an approach that links the training itself to the employee's career and evaluation.
- Side jobs and personal discretionWhile some companies have established rules based on an approval system, others operate with the stance of "respecting the individual more than the company." The interesting point was the difference in values, where some deliberately entrust decisions to individual discretion precisely because responsibility falls on the management side.
- Utilizing AI tools and risk managementCompanies have diverse approaches to using AI, from implementing Claude and ChatGPT company-wide to limiting their use to project-specific applications to simplify costs and management. On the other hand, participants shared insights into the risks involved, such as how to handle confidential client information and the importance of using generated data directly in proposals, making this a session that realistically conveys the current state of AI utilization.
- Remote Organization VisualizationThe presentations highlighted various companies' efforts to address the challenges of remote work environments, where it can be difficult to see the status of team members, such as using regular quarterly meetings to visualize these challenges.
The event concludes with a time for interaction.
After the Q&A session, we moved on to a networking time with pizza and drinks. Conversations like "I want to hear more details" arose everywhere, and it became a warm time where people could speak honestly, transcending company boundaries.

This was the memorable first installment, Vol. 1, and we plan to continue holding events like "Producer Edition" and "Director Edition" in the future. Please look forward to the next one!
