Hello, this is the iDID Media editorial team.
December is flying by. It'll be over in about 10 days... But iDID Media still has plenty of articles to update. If you've noticed a lot of updates to iDID Media recently, you're right. The update frequency has increased. We have a lot of interesting projects in the works, so please continue to enjoy them!
Now, this time's featured websites are for November! This is our final roundup of websites for the year! As December approaches, let's take a light look back. Here we go!

1. Kai Corporation Design | KAI DESIGN Dept.

We break down the product into a picture-book-like process of "question → answer" to make it easy to understand. ✂️

This is a special website for the Design Department of Kai Corporation.
"Which one is easy to cut?" → "Because it's easy to hold."
"What angle?" → "The angle that's easiest for you to shave."
"Smooth?" → "The outside is rough."

The developed product is presented in a picture book-like process of "question → answer," allowing users to virtually experience the product by dragging and dropping. It's truly a "picture book you can touch." And then it leads to "landing copy" such as, "When you think of someone, you arrive at a new form." This sense of pace is the secret to understanding the product in an enjoyable way.

This picture-book-like pace fosters affection for the product, leading to an understanding and appreciation of Kai Corporation's design, rather than just a simple copy. It's a fun site to browse.

2. NAGAKEN

The very existence of the site represents NAGAKEN in its own way. 👷

This is the website for the construction company NAGAKEN. As you can see from the thumbnails, the overall layout is wider than the browser screen, and you view the whole thing by dragging. Along with the tagline "New things in big letters," the homepage conveys a sense of "broad-mindedness" and "challenge" that goes beyond conventional boundaries.

And if you look closely at this top, you'll see that it's modeled after a "blueprint," which is essential for business processes. It's also a plan for creating the future. The website is not just a platform for branding and information dissemination; its very existence expresses "NAGAKEN."This website effectively enhances its strength by incorporating a double meaning.

3. COUNTER

They actually solidified their concept based on their "frequently used catchphrases"!

The concept is "structured chaos." The overall tone is unified with the corporate color orange. The balance between chaos and regularity reflects the company's stance of pursuing both creativity and digital marketing, and its challenging spirit. The concept map created by ARUTEGA, who was in charge of production this time, has been released, and guess what?I was amazed by the brilliant method of shaping the macro from the micro, starting with the "frequently used catchphrases" to create characters, then defining the tone and design requirements, and finally solidifying the concept.COUNTER is a company based in Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture, and its mission is "to create cutting-edge technology from a local perspective." It's a company worth keeping an eye on, especially because of its strong local focus.

4. Positive dreamers

Cool "intelligence" and burning "passion" coexist 🟦

This is the recruitment website for Positive Dream Persons. The vibrant blue background is striking, with bold, brushstroke-like orange lines creating a powerful impression. The message filling the screen conveys the company's passionate attitude, and perhaps because of the blue base color, a cool "intelligence" and a burning "passion" coexist. The attention to detail, such as the animations on the linked pages, demonstrates intelligence. Furthermore, while this site is a recruitment site, I felt it also functions as a corporate site in that it conveys the company's brand and information. It might be interesting to view recruitment sites as corporate sites that are capable of challenging themselves.

5. Original Osaka Mitarashi Dango

"Mitarashi Tarejiro" is doing a great job 🍡

This is the brand website for "Original Osaka Mitarashi Dango." The first view of the site is designed to resemble the "product packaging," so that it's immediately recognizable when you see the actual product. And various clever features are already incorporated in this first view. This site also uses a different methodology than the "Kai Corporation brand website."It's like reading a picture book about the original Osaka mitarashi dango; it's a truly immersive experience.I love the part where you eat a dango, it grows bigger, and then the product description begins, and the part where you open the product box and the recipe ideas start. "Mitarashi Tarejiro" plays an active role here and there, and the way the product hover effects are displayed also have some hooks. The stamps are fun too. I felt that the entire site's story was very well thought out.

6. Mai Teshigawara Official Website

A website that expresses the idea that "social skills" and "humanity" are two sides of the same coin, making up a complete human being.

Mai Teshigawara's website was created with the theme of "a good feeling that's also a bad feeling." In the music video, letters move around and strange characters have bulging eyes. The moving letters contain keywords that will help you get to know Teshigawara. What's interesting isWhile words like "meritocracy," "organizational development support," and "academic credential society" might sound a bit heavy when viewed on paper, the site takes a completely lighthearted and pop approach.(The font is Mincho to maintain balance.) By doing so, you can sense Teshigawara's "pop side" that cannot be gleaned from the aforementioned words alone (that's how I felt when listening to the radio). It's a site that expresses that "sociality" and "humanity" are two sides of the same coin, making up one person.

7. Haneda Nice Day

A website that evokes a sense of comfort and tranquility, like the atmosphere you get when visiting an airport.

"Haneda Nice Day" was created with the wish that visitors have a wonderful day. It allows visitors to experience the thoughtfulness of the workers and pleasant moments at various locations in the three terminals, but what's noteworthy is the extremely minimal amount of textual information. A pleasant day can't be described in words; it's something you can feel from the crisp air, the blue sky, or the sounds you hear in the distance. This website is permeated with a sense of "comfort" throughout. I felt that it perfectly captured "that atmosphere" you get when you visit an airport. This is a website that will lift your spirits just by visiting it.

8. Laful, a hair salon where smiles last.

The staff's hobbies and preferences are clearly reflected on the website.

This is the website for the hair salon "Raful." What I found particularly distinctive was how the website reflects the individual preferences of the Raful staff, such as travel and photography. In shaping the brand image, we've positioned "Ralph" as a vague shape that represents the intersection of the staff's hobbies and preferences.

Rather than a pre-formed vessel, it's a natural approach that doesn't shy away from the vessel itself changing over time—that's how I interpreted Ralph's aim for authenticity (a pursuit of the essence). To embody this approach, we've chosen a painting by artist Misa Shinji as the main visual.

The content also begins with a "staff roundtable discussion" before explaining the concept, resulting in a website that truly reflects how the individual styles of the staff shape the salon, which is unique to "Ralph."

9. Sha Maison | Rental housing by Sekisui House

I'd love to live in a place like this...🏡

This is the website for Sekisui House's rental housing "Sha Maison." The aim was to balance the functionality of a property search site with how to convey the value of the brand. The MV and "Recommended Properties" sections feature visuals of Sha Maison properties, while the "Characteristics of Sha Maison" and "Series by Lifestyle" sections convey the brand's value. The functional and brand aspects are clearly separated, making it easy to understand.

The property search function has also been revamped to have clearer and more distinctive search criteria, thanks to Creative Director Abe's work."It must have an information architecture, design, and navigation that is similar to, yet different from, property search sites that allow users to find properties other than those owned by our company."I was really struck by that comment.

The following article, written by Director Fuyuna Taguchi, details the process from the site proposal to its launch. From the "Graveyard of Property Listings," it's clear that this project was challenging but also incredibly rewarding.

How to balance brand and property search website for [Sha Maison]? The story behind the website redesign that combines two functions | necco Note | necco inc.In August 2025, the brand and property search website for "ShaMaison," which we had been helping with for a year, was fully revamped at necco.inc.

10. sukima

Sukima's corporate website features the memorable tagline, "We bring smiles to the gaps in your life."The way it strikes a perfect balance between being a corporate website that looks like a portfolio site is fascinating.According to ZIZO, who was in charge of production, "We wanted to differentiate it by making a music video that wasn't primarily focused on the artwork," which made perfect sense to me.

The tagline is "We'll bring smiles to the gaps in your life," and director Sumida pops out of every "gap" (laughs). From this laid-back feel, I felt like I could see what Sumida and sumika are creating.

That's all!

How did you like our roundup of interesting websites for November 2025? Every site was fascinating this month!

- We pursued an experiential approach to the website, drawing inspiration from "how to communicate through picture books.""Kai Corporation's design" and "Original Osaka Mitarashi Dango".
They prioritized conveying the atmosphere of the scene rather than simply relaying information."Haneda Nice Day".
- We started by making small discoveries, such as the person in charge's catchphrases or the staff's hobbies and preferences, and then shaped the project from there."COUNTER" and "Raful".
- By giving the site a double meaning, it conveyed a sense of strength."NAGAKEN".
Those were some of the things that left a lasting impression on me. What about you all?

Well then, this will be the last article for this year about the sites I've been interested in. Since I've come this far, I'd like to do a yearly summary.
So, once again, thank you for reading to the end.
See you again next month. Or rather, next year.
