On December 5, 2025, a special event where learning and encounters intersected was held at LIFORK Harajuku.

This type of year-end event started in 2023, and this will be the third time it's been held.
This time, the event was held in two parts: a "learning space" during the day and a "creators' flea market" at night.

On that day, learning and encounters intersected continuously, creating a rich and fulfilling experience.

Whether you were able to attend or not, we'll put together a summary report so that you can feel the "energy" of that space.

This year's event was held at LIFORK Harajuku, just like in previous years!

LIFORK Harajuku is just a few minutes' walk from Harajuku station. Located on the 3rd floor of WITH HARAJUKU, it's the perfect rental space for a creative festival.

Daytime Session | DAY SUMMIT ~The forefront of digital creativity in 2025~

The event started at 14:00 PM with the venue almost completely full!

The daytime session began with opening remarks from Mr. Manabe (Shiftbrain).

Shiftbrain CEO Kato positioned this event, the sixth in the iDID series, as "the most serious event yet," and addressed the participants, saying, "I hope you will use this as a hint for your future creative activities."

14:10 - From mount: Introduction to the production process of KOKUYO and Daimaru

Left: KOKUYO Team - Masahiro Yonedo (Art Director) / Takeshiro Umezu (Technical Director)
Right: Daimaru Team - Hidekazu Hayashi (Art Director) / Kenji Okabe (Technical Director)

Mount reflected on the process of how they came to represent Daimaru Matsuzakaya Department Store's visual identity "Hyakuyozu" and Kokuyo Co., Ltd.'s "Pop-Up Picture Books" on their website, describing how "the more I worked, the more I felt the distance between the goal and where I was, and it was painful," illustrating his emotional curve at the time. Explaining the difficulties of the production process with an emotional curve is truly impressive, Mount.

15:00 - From Melt Interface: Behind the scenes of the production of their first product, "Melt Mouse"

Left: Hiroto Sakoda (Diver-X Melt Interface)
Right: Ryohei Kamada (Design Director/Designer, Paraph)

How did the unprecedented "Melt Mouse" come into being? Sakoda explained that human interface devices (HIDs) greatly influence the quality of human experience, and that the idea of "making people's daily lives happier by improving the quality of their experience" is at the root of the product's conception.

15:25 - FunTech presents ANRI and Neu's production process.

Left: Takuma Hashimoto (Lead Engineer / Motion Designer)
Center: Junpei Horino (Designer)
Right: Yoshitaka Ota (CEO / Creative Director)

This article introduces two projects: ANRI's corporate website, which was built from scratch, and Neu's website, which was developed using no-code. Surprisingly, Neu's website was developed using no-code by designer Horino. The goal was to take on a challenge that only a designer could undertake, and as a result, they succeeded in brilliantly expressing the client's characteristic "eccentricity" in the web design. In particular, the story of how they built the implementation by trial and error using Framer was a truly "eccentric" level of dedication, and it was a behind-the-scenes story that strongly demonstrated the potential of no-code development.

16:05 - From the Studio: The Cutting Edge of Web Production Using AI

Yasu Yoshioka (COO, Studio, Inc.)

CEO Yoshioka unveiled "Studio.Assistant," a new feature for web creators. It allows for the intuitive creation of client work-related documents such as interview sheets and wireframes. The demonstration of the "Magic Rewrite" feature elicited gasps of amazement from the audience. While I sensed that the industry will continue to change significantly, I felt that the company hoped that innovative services would be utilized not as threats but as partners, allowing creators to focus more on their creative activities.

16:30 - Introduction to CREATIVE CLASS

From left to right: Tomohiro Sugawara (CREATIVE CLASS graduate), Ami Iwasawa (CREATIVE CLASS graduate), Kazuki Nakamura (CREATIVE CLASS / Wav Design), Katsuaki Utsunomiya (Shhh inc)

Graduates Sugawara and Iwasawa, who recently completed the online school "CREATIVE CLASS," shared their real-life experiences with instructor Utsunomiya and Nakamura from Wav Design. While their reasons for taking the course varied, they all seemed to share the commonality of having some kind of challenge they were facing.

16:55 - "Websites of Interest" Year-End Roundup

From left to right: Tom Ishikawa (WEBSTAFF), Shogo Tabuchi (S5-Style), Masanori Igarashi (Web Designing)

We looked back at "websites that were talked about this year" from January to October and asked people to talk about the sites that caught their attention. Every month, iDID Media picks out and introduces websites that were published the previous month. Websites that were talked about included "Nagoya Tachibana High School Marching Band" in January and "Japanese Flash Web Design Archives" in March. Overall, the trend for 2025 was that "the feelings of the production team towards the client are important" and that "the line between traditional websites and no-code websites is blurring."

Finally

Thank you so much to everyone who participated and to all the speakers! I feel that it was especially meaningful for creators to gather and share this time together in these rapidly changing times.

I'm sure that new advancements will have occurred at the event a year from now. I hope that the lessons learned at this event will contribute to the growth of each and every one of you, and that the connections forged from meeting people will continue to expand.

This concludes our summary report, but we plan to publish a more in-depth article about this event in January 2026. In that article, we will provide a more detailed and creative perspective on the talks and exhibits. Please look forward to it!

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!
